These rules describe the buyout of a website run under a PstrykWeb subscription after the agreement's term ends. You pay a one-off 2,900 PLN net (3,567 PLN gross) and we transfer the domain, the website's code and its content to your business, with no additional fees. The binding terms of the buyout are set out in the agreement; this page summarises them.
1. Who these rules apply to
- These rules apply to entrepreneurs who have concluded a PstrykWeb subscription agreement with CETUSPRO sp. z o.o., after the end of the term for which the agreement was concluded.
- A website bought under the Outright purchase plan (8,900 PLN net, one-off) does not need a buyout; the rules for handing it over are set out in the agreement.
2. What the buyout includes
- The domain. We transfer the website's domain to your business, so that your NIP (tax ID) is its registrant. You can keep it with any registrar, or leave it with us and pay only for its renewal.
- The website's code. We hand over the website's source code (the repository) to the GitHub account you name or as a ZIP archive, together with the rights to use it to the extent set out in the agreement. You can deploy the website with any hosting provider. The code may contain third-party libraries and components made available under open-source licences; you use them under the terms of those licences.
- The database and content. We hand over an export of the website's database: all the content you edit in the panel, the data saved by the website's forms (if the website saves it) and the configuration needed to restore it, as well as the files used on the website, such as photos.
- The transfer questionnaire. You fill in a short form: where to transfer the domain, who to hand the code to, and your contact details. It takes about 5 minutes; we take care of the rest.
3. How the transfer works, step by step
- The agreement's term ends. You tell us by e-mail that you want to buy out the website. The buyout is not compulsory: you can also simply continue the subscription (section 5).
- You pay a one-off 2,900 PLN net. This is the buyout price, the same however long the agreement lasted. Payment is in advance, against an invoice.
- You fill in the transfer questionnaire. You tell us where to transfer the domain and who to hand the code to.
- We hand over the website. The domain to your NIP, the code in your repository or in a ZIP archive, and the database export, within the time set out in the agreement. From then on, you maintain and develop the website wherever you like.
4. What changes after the transfer
- On the day the website is handed over, our services for maintaining it end: hosting, the database, the editing panel, sending messages from the website's contact forms and the monthly pool of changes.
- From then on, you or a provider you choose take care of maintaining the website, in particular hosting, the database, the service for sending messages from the forms and renewing the domain. The website uses external services that must be configured on your accounts; if you wish, we can help with this as a paid consultation.
- Until the day of the handover, the website runs with us under the existing terms.
5. If you do not want a buyout
If you do not buy out the website, after the agreement's term ends the subscription renews automatically month to month at the same monthly rate, unless the agreement provides otherwise. You can end a subscription renewed in this way under the terms of the agreement. You can also take up the buyout later, during the renewed subscription, for the same price.
6. Why 2,900 PLN
2,900 PLN net is not a fee for "releasing" the website, but the price of ownership, the same whichever way you get there. Two years on the 24-month subscription (24 × 249 PLN) plus the buyout come to 8,876 PLN net, practically the same as the Outright purchase plan bought on the first day (8,900 PLN net). We say so from day one.
All prices are net, to which we add 23 % VAT. The offer is addressed to businesses (Terms of service, § 14).
7. The agreement and questions
The binding terms of the buyout, including the scope of the rights to the website's code, graphic design and texts that pass to you, and the time and manner of the handover, are set out in the subscription agreement or the buyout agreement; in case of a discrepancy between this page and the agreement, the agreement prevails. Do you have questions? Write to kontakt@pstrykweb.pl. We will explain every detail before you sign anything. This is a translation of the Polish rules; in case of any discrepancy, the Polish version prevails.
